HOW TO PREPARE TRADITIONAL PRASADAM FOR LORD GANESH CHATURTHI 2016

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED GANESH CHATURTHI PRASADAM:
- Rice rava- 3 cups
- Bengal gram-1 cup
- Cumin seeds-half tea spoon
- Ghee -1 tea spoon
PREPARATION PROCESS OF LORD GANESH CHATURTHI 2016 PRASADAM:
Lord Ganesh Chaturthi 2016 prasadam can be done in two ways they are given below:
1 With pressure cooker.
2 Direct Cooking.
NOTE: If we use pressure cooker for the preparation of Lord Ganesh Chaturthi 2016 prasadam, then for one cup of rice rawa we have to use 1 3/4th cups of water. Otherwise if it is direct cooking than for one cup of rice we have to use 2 cups of water.
At first we have to cook rice rawa by taking rice rawa into a bowl and then add water and clean it. After that place this rice rawa in pressure cooker and then add water to this cleaned rawa (ie., for 1 cup of rice we have to add 1 3/4thof water. Now after completing first whistle cook on low flame for nearly 15 minutes.
Now wash Bengal gram and then add some amount of water and then keep this solution in a bowl. Cook it on low flame. Note that it should not be overcooked. Cook till the Bengal grains are just cooked. After this remove the entire water from these cooked Bengal grains.
METHODOF LORD GANESH CHATURTHI 2016 PRASADAM:
Rice rawa should be spread in a plate and then add this cooked Bengal grains along with some salt and keep it a side. Now take a pan and then heat it. Add some ghee or oil.aftermelting of ghee add some cumin seeds and make it fry till the seeds get crackle. Now add this to the solution which previously we kept aside and then wait for a minute and mix the entire solution. Now this mixture is ready to make UNDRALLU.
Make your hands wet take a portion in shape of a round or a ball. Arrange it separately in a plate. For remaining also repeat the process until the mixture is completed. Now smear idly stand with some oil. Place these balls in idly stand. Cook it for 30 minutes. After that the delicious Ganesh Chathurdi prasadam (undralu) is ready. Take it and serve it.
Lord Ganesh love this prasadam a lot, generally people will offer this prasadam which we prepared now, to the lord Ganesh on the auspicious day of Lord Ganesh Chaturthi. In many places people will distribute this prasadam to their neighbors on the part of celebrating the lord Ganesh Chaturthi.
